Here’s a few pictures from a diseased lime tree along Pool Walk in Lichfield. A recent tree survey and picus tomograph report indicated that the base of the tree was decayed sufficiently that it needed removal on the grounds of public safety given the tree was in such a high use area. Interestingly, as the tree was being sectioned down, the surrounding ground and paving was moving!!
